My name is Chris DeMarchi.  I started Hawaii Epic Cycling to bring cyclists and athletes around the world to The Big Island for one thing, to cross an epic tour off their bucket list. The Big Island in its own right, has some of the most amazing rides you can dream up.  From long Century rides along beaches to the number one ranked climb in the world, Mauna Kea.  Of course, Ironman World Championship course is always popular, and we will be by your side every stroke, pedal, and step you take.

I have spent time around the world riding and racing on some very respectful climbs and routes.  Over time, I noticed that just riding a climb was not enough.  I wanted more, I wanted to ride long and with Multiple climbs.  100 plus mile days with 10,000 to 20,000 feet of elevation gain.  Soon, it became a challenge to keep setting the bar higher and higher. Ultimately racing my bike across the USA and setting world records doing it. This was the moment that I wanted to bring these experiences to one place where people can come vacation and ride their bikes on some of the best terrain in the world!!
